Richard Anker, SAI and Fairtrade International calculate living wage for rural Dominican Republic

April, 2014
In late April 2014, SAI and Fairtrade will publish a report written by Dr. Richard Anker, former Senior Economist at the ILO, that provides a living wage figure for rural Dominican Republic and an explanation of Dr. Anker’s groundbreaking living wage methodology. The report will be available in both English and Spanish and was funded by SAI and Fairtrade. This is the first in a larger series of work for SAI in partnership with Fairtrade and ISEAL to support the Anker methodology of calculating living wages involving diverse stakeholders for public release.
