The SAI Database represents an important step forward for the SA8000 Certification system. The collection of data, uniformity of process, and delivery of information help make the SA8000 system more effective and significantly more marketable. SAI recently conducted a Database usage review of currently accredited certification bodies with active certifications and found many forms, (Audit Tools, MSMDs, NC Reports, and company profiles), which were incomplete, not correctly reviewed, and/or left in a draft or pending status. This webinar was an opportunity for SAI to provide additional training, support and guidance for successful management and completion of database forms.
