David Zwiebel | Advisory Board

David Zwiebel is a social accountability consultant with a background in commercial real estate development and the retail and garment industries.  Between 1989 and 2000 he has been the Vice President of the retail division, Director of Architectural Design and Planning, and Senior Advisor for Social Accountability at Eileen Fisher Inc. a designer, manufacturer, and retailer of women’s clothing based in New York. 

He is long standing advisory board member of Social Accountability International.  David participated in the first working group sessions in 1995 which led to the formation of SA8000 and the establishment of SAI.  He is a board member of the Irvington Education Foundation and an advisory board member of the Harlem Village Academy Charter School.  David has a B.S. from Cornell University and currently lives in Irvington, NY with his family.
